About Voorhees College

The college is started in the year 1898. The college is earlier known as Arcot Mission College.

Voorhees College is more than 100 years old. It was started in 1898. Many prominent political leader Mahatma Gandhi visited and stayed at college during the period of independence. Dr. Radhakrishnan was one of the memorable student in Voorhees College. Many more other political leaders and great scholars etc., were studies in 100 years old college.
I'm to be proud that I was a student in a 100 years old college and followed the great scholars and VIPs.
I finished Under Graduate in Physics (2000). My HOD is Mr.Samuel Sudersanam. He is well experienced and good in nature with the students teachings.
At present, Mr. Daniel is the Principal of the college. He is also a Post graduate in Science.
My wish to celebrate the 150 years of college.
