About Hindu Girls College
Hindu Girls' College, Jagadhri was established in 1962 to cater to the academic needs of Jagadhri and its nearby rural areas. Situated on the gateway of the 'brass town', this light house of learning and knowledge provides ideal education to the young scholars in the true spirit of our ancient cultural heritage combined with a modern outlook. Since its inception, this institution has been striving for maintaining and inculcating the cherished human values of life so urgently needed in the present chaos-swept scenario.
Managed by a very generous, efficient and intelligent Governing Body, the institution has been successfully crossing all hurdles in its way to progress and is keeping up the torch of education aflame. Presently, the college offers to its students, besides the regular degree courses in Arts, Science, Commerce, Home Science, contemporary degrees in B.Sc. Computer Science, B.Sc with Computer Applications, B.Sc. with Biotechnology, B.Com. with Computer Applications, B.Com. with Computer Awareness and B.A. with Functional English (Vocational). M.A. in English ,M.Sc. Computer Science (Software) and M.A. Sociology are running successfully for the last a few years.
