Smt. Ahalyabai Appanagouda Patil College of Arts & Commerce for women is located in the city of Chikodi in the Belgaum district of Karnataka. It was founded in the year 1986 by the Chikodi Taluka Education Society. It offers B.A. and B.Com. courses to the aspiring girl candidates. The medium of education is available in Kannada and English languages. The college is spread over 7.5 acres of area and has a well-established infrastructure. It is affiliated with Karnataka State Women's University, Vijayapur.
FacilitiesCollege has spacious classrooms, computer hall, women's hostel, indoor games hall, function hall, etc., for the use of students.
The college is having a full-fledged library and has a good collection of books. Presently there are 17000 books in the library. Apart from this many periodicals, magazines, and newspapers are subscribed for the benefit of students. There is one reading hall for the students where they can refer to the reading materials in the library.
To inculcate the concern for the society and extending help to the people in the surrounding area, the students are inspired and motivated to join National Service Scheme (NSS). Regular activities of NSS are conducted during the year where the students take up various welfare activities for the people living in nearby villages.
There are all the main sports facilities available in the college for the students for their overall physical development.

A.A. Patil Arts and Commerce College for Women is Situated at Belgaum, Karnataka. It was established in 2009. It is affiliated
to Karnataka University. It is Approved by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). It is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Further and Higher Education. It provides library, computer labs, auditorium, gymkhana, canteen, classrooms, sports and games, hostel and transportation facilities to the students.
