Reviews of Nirmala CollegeVery strict and reputed college in Ranchi! 
One of my friends belongs to Nirmala College. She completed her intermediate from this college. I have been there too when I visited he house once. I know this college very closely as one of my best friends, has studied here. The teachers are very strict towards rules and regulation. It seems that it is not a college but a school. The atmosphere is very good, very disciplined manner have been seen in each student. Its a girl convent college and boys are not allowed. Only parents and guardians are allowed when it comes to boys i.e. male.
Though it is a missionary college, the sisters are very humbled but strict. They are very friendly too. The principal is very nice. She always boost up the students to do more in anything whether it is a study or other activities.
The food in a canteen seems very hygienic and taste well. There is a small canteen at the right corner of the college beside college hostel. Along with the canteen there are many trees and under each trees there is a slab made where students can sit and study or do other activities. The college building is very nice, neat and clean with more than 16 toilets, well-maintained. The college library is also big. Two floors of college library is there very you can sit and study individually. You ca get all the concerned books whether its a fiction or a subject related.
Science stream and Arts stream students have a common class in a big gallary room in just two subjects like English and Hindi. The timing starts from early morning till evening. It depends on teachers comforts that when they are free. Because some of the teachers comes from some other college to teach the students of Nirmala College.
There has been various sports activities too along with extra curricular activities in this college. One act play, singing, dancing competition are held occasionally with other college too. The discipline and good manner of the students make this college the best one in Ranchi.
This college is often called sister college of St.Xaviers college which is too in Ranchi, one of the best college.

| Nimala College My First College
Nirmala College is a girls Chirstian College, it is very strict and just like school discipline. There college maintain the discipline and the students too.
Here only female teachers are teaching. It was founded in August 1969 by the Society of Sisters of Charity of Jesus and Mary. The Society exercises its responsibility over Nirmala College through a Governing Body. It was situated in Doranda near by R & D Office, the primary objective of providing university education in a Christian atmosphere for deserving women students, and those belonging to the Catholic community. Although this college is meant primarily for Catholics, it admits other students irrespective of caste and creed. The college aims at training young women to be successful in all walks of life and whom we hope will play a vital role in bringing about the desired changes for the betterment of the people of our country, more particularly of the poorer and marginalized sections of society.
Nirmala College is affiliated with ranchi University. Here there is no commerce education, Arts and science tream students are able to take admission in this college.The sisters are very strict and the way of study is very nice. the teachers teaches the students very well.
The college premises comprises of hostel, and canteen facility also.
Those who come out from other station are able to take admission in hostel and enjoy there with full zeal.
I have also completed my Intermediate in science stream with Mathematics in 2003. The experinces there is very nice and always remember the days which i have spend there with my friends. After clasees we always use to visit canteen to have chat becuase the canteen is famous for chat, we also celebrate the birthdays of our friends in canteen because it is at reasonable price and students can afford it easily.
There was a big ground and sports are organised there i also take part in the sports but didnt get any prize.that was very embrassing for me.
My advice to all the student to take admission and enjoy the study as well as other events but dont forget to cross out of discipline

This college is a Christian minority college. This Nirmala College was affiliated by the Ranchi university. This college was originated in August 1969. This college was started by the Society of Sisters of Charity of Jesus and Mary.The responsibility of the society is exercised over this college.The college is established with the primary purpose of providing catholic young women of this area the opportunity of higher learning offered in a spirit and atmosphere of Christian simplicity, sincerity, concern and faith. This college is not only for the Christian girls but for all the girls who belong to various communities and Religions. Nirmala This college is a premier institution of the State Jharkhand , which also imparts quality education to the students and it has remained a center of excellence till date even though it was started a long time ago. This is a minority educational institution. It has been accredited by NAAC with GRADE B+.
