Eswari Engineering College(EEC)was established in the year 1996. It is situated in Ramapuram,Chennai. It is a telugu minority institution. They are offering seven post graduation courses and seven under graduation courses. It is belongs to Sri Ramaswamy Memorial Group (SRM GROUP) of Educational Institutions for higher Learning. It is the engineering college for women. The College was originally affiliated to the University of Madras . Pursuant to the Government decision on Technical Education, Anna University had taken over reigns of all Engineering Colleges in Tamil Nadu in December 2001. As of now, the College is affiliated to Anna University . It is also approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). They have good lab facilities. The national level technical symposium is conducted every year by all the departments. Industrial visits and inplant trainings are conducted frequently to train the students technically. They are providing good transport facility for both students and staff members. The academic standard of the institution is increasing year by year.
