About the college
Kha-Manipur college, Kakching was established in 1966 to help the educational needs of the Tengnoupal Area of Manipur valley. It was initially affiliated with Guwahati University and later in 1980, it got affiliated with Manipur university. In 1979 it took over by the government of Manipur.
It is situated in a naturally beautiful site near to the River Sekmai in 25-acres of land which is around 45 KM away from Capital city Imphal.
College facilities include Library, Post office, Playground, Multi-purpose hall, Boys and ladies hostel, swimming pool, indoor stadium, and college canteen. The various Associations and committees in the college are Quality Assurance Cell, Library Committee, Students Welfare Committee, College Admission Committee, Red Ribbon Club, College Construction Committee, Examination Committee, Teachers Committee, Sports Committee, and Cine Club.
