The Himalayan Pharmacy Institute is the only institution which conducts Pharmacy courses in the Sikkim. It started the Diploma course in Pharmaceutical Sciences in 1990 and Degree course in Pharmaceutical Sciences in 1997. Location: The Institute is located in Majhitar, four kilometer ahead of Rangpo, the border town of West Bengal and Sikkim. The nearest Railway Station is New Jalpaiguri and the Airport is Bagdogra. The fee structure of Diploma Pharmacy is Rs 70,000 in the 1st year and Rs 50,000 in the 2nd year. The fee structure of B.Pharm is Rs 1,20,700 in the 1st year, Rs 75,000 in 2nd and 3rd year and Rs 25,000 in 4th year.
