Since 1964, Birati College (popular name) has maintained its Goodwill in Studies. One of my close relative has joined this College in the year 2007 in B.A.(Sociology) Hons. Sharing the information here from him.
This College has good Lab Quality for Science Group, as well as for Geography section. Incase of Sociology Department, they provide lots of Survey Facility to the Students with the help of NGOs. HOD is also very supportive like other professors.
Annual Day celebration is very enjoyable to the students, as many of Bengali Bands come to perform. In Saraswati Puja, students decorate the place of puja & distribute prasad to each other.
The Principal Dr. Ranjit Basu always there to help the students.
Library is no doubt one of the best that I have been seen in my life.
Recently college management opened a different building to give lesion on Computer. Computer Application is mandatory for all students.
At last not the least, Students can join this college without having any tension regarding Ragging. Senior students are good.
*Note: College Union is SFI & No Hostel facility
