About Ramthakur College

The Ramthakur College started in 1967 by Late Promod Ranjan Bhatta Chaudhuri, affiliated to Tripura University and it got the accreditation from NAAC with B grade. It started with only 8 classrooms and classes taken for arts subjects only.
The campus has 6.3 acres of land and is situated in Agartala Urban area. There are around 3400 students and 60 teaching staffs.
In college, there are 200 NSS volunteers and 150 NCC cadets doing various activities. The college library has more than 47000 books. The college students are participating in many sports activities and have won many trophies. There is a college magazine gets published every year.
