SSV College, Hapur was established in the year 1951 by the Siksha Prashar Samiti, Hapur. It offers various UG and PG courses in Science, Commerce, and Humanities to aspiring students. Earlier this college was affiliated with Agra University but since 1965 it is affiliated with Ch. Charan Singh University, Meerut.
AdmissionsThe admissions to this college are done through Ch. Charan Singh University, Meerut, and the interested candidates have to register on the university website and make a user ID and password to upload the necessary documents there. The admissions are offered on the basis of the merit of the last qualifying examination and the names of the shortlisted candidates will be displayed on the university website. While preparing the merit list, considerations are given for candidates having NCC certification, sports competency of national level, Awarded Rangers and Rover's candidates, etc. The results of the admission process get uploaded on the website and students can download the offer document from there. This offer letter needs to enclosed with all the relevant original documents like certificate and mark sheets of High School to the last qualifying exam, TC and character certificate from the last institution, Aadhar card, Address proof, Parent's consent, etc for document verification in the college. Only after the verification of the original educational and other credential documents of the candidates, the final admission would be granted.
The combination of subjects chosen by the candidate in UG courses will only be available as per the merit and in case he does not have suitable merit then he will be given the option to change the subjects to other subjects available. If there are some seats left vacant after the first round of admissions then the unsuccessful candidates can again apply through the university portal for these residual seats and based on the merit their candidature would be considered.
There is reservation in admissions to select categories and presently it is 21% for SC, 2% for ST, 27% for OBC, 4% for disabled, 2% for wards of freedom fighter, 1% for wards Army personnel, 20% for female candidates, and 10% for EWS candidates.
EligibilityCandidates applying for UG courses should have at least 45% in their class 12 exam and candidates applying for PG courses in any subject should have 50% marks in qualifying graduation course and should have that subject also in their graduation.
