S.G.P.G.College Sarurpur Khurd ( Meerut ) 
Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate College Sarurpur khurd established in 1982. This college has a campus of 12 acres in a tiny small village named Sarurpur khurd distt. Meerut. This is the biggest occupied area by an college in the district.College amneties are very good and have a very beatiful environment as ecofriendly environment along the side of Ganga canal in the East and Barnawa - Sardhana road in the west, just 2 Km. away from Meerut Karnal highway.
The college is affiliated to Ch. Charan Singh University, Meerut . The college has well developed laboratories and library. College has one of the best in infrastructure for the sport to rural poor boys and girls. The college has a lush green play ground for football, hockey, cricket and very good court for the basketball, volleyball and badminton.
The college is distributing education for the rural population in Science, Arts, Commerce and Education. The college provides a congenial atmosphere for the higher academic pursuits and research facilities in Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics in faculty of science and English and Sanskrit in the faculty of Arts.
The founder of this college hon’ble, late Sri. Kripa Ram was born in farmer family in a small village Dhadra in Meerut. After completing his education he become senior marketing inspector but the atmosphere there was not congenial to his taste so he resigned and joined a noble profession – teaching at Kisan Inter College Madhi (Meeurt). But his destination was awaiting him at Sarurpur Khurd where a Junior High School was running in bad shape. He became head Master of the school in 1954. Despite, his illness and weak physical condition he ignored all personal comfort & visited remote villages at early dawn throughout the year on bicycle and collected the donation from poor peasants. With in period of 12 years the school became full fledged intermediate college in 1968. By this time the idea of upgrading this intermediate college came in his mind and started to raise the funds for the achievement of his goal. The year of 1982 was a milestone in the history of this area as Sanjay Gandhi Degree College came into existence.
Hats off to Founder with his work in the field of education. This is the college providing good education to the rural students and has numerous success stories.This college is also famous for its discipline in the field of education.
