About Shri Shahu Mandir Mahavidyalaya
InfrastructureThe college has spacious classrooms, a well-equipped library and all other facilities required to offer effective learning for the students. Apart from this, an advanced gymnasium is also available for the students. It indicates the importance of physical fitness that is equally essential as mental fitness.
Then there is a big playground for outdoor games. Students are allowed to participate in various games like basketball, football, etc. All the required equipment is also available for the students for the same. A swimming pool of 80 X 40 feet size is there on the campus. A functional filtration plant is also attached to it. Well-skilled and experienced coaches are appointed by the Akhil Bharatiya Maratha Shikshan Parishad who take care of the complete management of the swimming pool-related activities.
The campus also has a canteen arranged on a contractual basis. The food items are available at a reasonable cost for students and staff. The college management supervises the prices and quality of the food items offered by the canteen.
A separate hostel facility for both boys and girls is available on the campus. The boy's hostel can accommodate around 145 students, whereas the girl's hostel is having the capacity to accommodate 100 students. Girl's hostel is having mess facility and students need to have food in mess only. So, the charges are approximately Rs. 14000/- per annum for boys and Rs. 42000/- per annum for girls (as it includes both accommodation and food).
Apart from these, a parking lot, a UGC Network Center and a Girls Common Room are also available on the campus.
