About Gauthami Degree College
This is a Private Unaided college recognized by the Government of AP and affiliated to Telangana University.
Gauthami Degree College was started in the year 1994 and is affiliated to the Telangana University. It is serving the dual purpose of offering education to students and developing them into professionals for different sectors and Industries. The college also supports the personality development of students and teaches them about ethics and moral values.
FacilitiesThe College has all basic facilities required to offer effective learning. There is a library with a great collection of books on different subjects. It has subscription to various journals, magazines, and newspapers.
There are separate laboratories for every discipline. The chemistry lab is quite spacious and equipped with instruments like balance, Chromatography apparatus, etc. The Life science lab has two divisions - one for Botany and another for Zoology. This lab is also equipped with all advanced instruments like centrifuge, autoclave, chambers, etc.
The computer lab is equipped with advanced computers and the latest software. Then there are Electronics lab, Physics lab, English lab, and commerce lab for use by the students of respective streams.
The students are provided with passes for buses and trains that can be availed by outstation students at no additional cost.
The College also offers government scholarships to the eligible students but 75% attendance is mandatory to avail this facility.
