The Pakim Palatine College is a co-educational Degree College set up in 2004. It is run by the Pakim Palatine Educational Society and is affiliated to Sikkim University since July 2008.
In 2009 it introduced a professional course in microbiology. The college also provides extra curricular activities ranging from debate, seminars, social service, and personality programs. Palatine College was under North Bengal University, but now as Sikkim University is set up in own state so it now follows up with Sikkim University,
