About Trident College of Education
Trident College of Education was established in 1999 by the Tuples Educational Society. Dr. SPS Sangu, an educationist, and a patron, has been instrumental in guiding the college during its formative stage. The main campus of the college is located on the NH-58 highway and has a clean and green look. It is easily accessible for students coming from Meerut city and its neighbourhood. The college office is however located at University Road in Meerut and is just 500 metres from the university campus. Trident College is affiliated to Ch. Charan Singh University, Meerut, which was formerly called Meerut University. The college offers a number of diploma, graduate and postgraduate programs in the field of education and physiotherapy.
Infrastructure and resources The college has state-of-the-art equipment and the best teaching aids in its classrooms and laboratories. The library is well stocked with books and journals, both national and international. Internet connectivity is available at the campus 24x7. The college has trained and qualified teachers. It also has visiting professionals and experts from the industry taking up classes. The focus is on both the theory and practical part of the training. Students are taken for industry visits and given exposure to live work environments. The college helps in the placement of the students. Students are kept up-to-date with the latest in industry needs. Also, training sessions are conducted on grooming and personality development.
Sports and games are an integral part of the curriculum at Trident. It has all the necessary infrastructure for the same. Students participate in state and national-level competitions. For meeting medical emergencies, the college has a medical room and a doctor on its rolls. There is also a canteen serving food and refreshments to the students and staff alike.
For residential purposes, the college provides separate hostels for boys and girls. The hostel rooms are furnished and have facilities like TV, telephone and so on.
Admissions For admission to its courses, Trident College of Education follows the university guidelines. The admission form can be downloaded from the college website. The form can be submitted at the admission office after filling in the necessary details and attaching copies of relevant documents. On successful processing of the documents, a registration/roll number is allotted and the candidates can then collect their college ID and library cards.
