About KIMS Degree & PG College
KIMS Degree and PG College was started by an academician Dr. P. Ravinder Rao in the year 1997. Initially, it was funded by the Swetha Educational Society. But later Sri Rama Educational Society took its responsibility. It started with 3 undergraduate courses and now it is offering 10 UG and 11 PG courses in different streams including Science, Commerce, and Arts. It has got affiliation to Satavahana University and is offering education to more than 1500 students from all the courses.
Facilities Talking about the facilities, the college has a library with a great collection of books, magazines, journals, and other resources. The laboratories are equipped with latest equipment and instruments. Accommodation is provided in hostels. Outstation students can avail of this facility at reasonable charges. Students get to participate in various curricular activities like sports and cultural events.
Admission For admissions in the first year of any undergraduate course, a candidate must have completed the 12th standard exams conducted by the Telangana government or any other equivalent exam. For Post graduate-level courses, a candidate should have completed the undergraduate degree courses in the same or related field from a recognized institute.
