About Adarsh College of Engineering
This is a private Engineering college recognized by AICTE and affiliated to JNTU.
Adarsh college of Engineering was established as a private college in the Chebrolu village in the year 2008 under the Adarsh Educational Society. It is located in East Godawari district in the state of Telangana. The college is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University and is approved by AICTE. It offers engineering, Polytechnic, MCA, and MBA courses to the eligible candidates.
FacilitiesThere is a spacious library in the college for the benefit of students and staff. Good computer and digital facilities are provided in the library for easy access to the resources. There are 19682 books available in the college and 35 journals (national as well as international) are subscribed by the library. A good sitting arrangement is provided in the library where a good number of students can avail the facilities and refer to the resources.
The training and placement division of the college takes care of the students after completing their courses and provides them an opportunity to face campus recruitment from prospective employers. The eligible students are given training in group discussions, presentations, and other personality development traits to make them compete in the placement process. The college has good placement interactions with business houses and companies like Polaris, Abhyas, Firstsource, Dr. Reddy, Cognizant, CSS Corp, Infosys, In-Spaces, Shomshire, NITS, Nano Objs, Tech Mahindra, etc.
The hostel facility is available for the boys and girls separately and is within the college campus. The hostels are having all the modern facilities. Individual furniture like bed, table, chair, cupboard, etc are provided to each and every student. Four times meals (breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner) are provided from the hostel mess where the students themselves decide the menu of the food items. A common room and recreation room are also provided to the students for common activities.
Sports facilities (indoor and outdoor) are available for the students and they are encouraged to participate in them. Annual sports are held for the selection of students for sending them to participate in university-level tournaments.
There is a common canteen cum cafeteria available on the college campus where various types of snacks and beverages are made available to the students and staff. The mineral water plant is installed on the college campus and the same is being used for drinking purposes.
The college is having a fleet of buses to transport the students from the nearby areas. However, students from nearby towns like Pyakaraopeta, Pithapuram, Yeleswaram, Uppada, Tuni, and Kakinada can come to the college using the state transport buses which regularly ply in the area.

The eligibility criterion for various educational streams is as under -
- Engineering:
The candidates should have obtained at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category) in their class XII or equivalent examination in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and have to appear in the entrance test 'EAMECT' common for the engineering, agriculture, and medical students. They should have attained an age of at least 16 years by 31st December in the year of admission. - MBA:
The candidates should have obtained 50% marks (45% for the reserved category) in their undergraduate courses. They will have to appear in the AP-ICET examination for selection for admission. - MCA:
Should have obtained 50% marks (45% for reserved category) in their undergraduate course and should have Mathematics as a subject in their 10+2 examination. They will have to appear in the AP-ICET examination for selection for admission. - Polytechnic (diploma):
The candidates should have obtained at least 35% marks in their SSC or equivalent qualification. They will have to appear in the POLYCET entrance examination for selection to admission for diploma courses.
