About Hamirpur College of Education
This is the first college of Education in HP which is run by a core professional group comprising of retired Army Officers and eminent academicians.
Hamirpur College of Education came into existence by the efforts of Gram Sudhar Sabha
(Society) Choula Kalan Hamirpur and the courtesy of HP Govt., HP University and NCTE, NRC-Jaipur. The college started functioning from 3rd September 2003.
The college is located on the up-coming National Highway at a distance of 1/2 KM from the Hamirpur Bus Stand. It is well connected from all sides within walking distance of 12-15 minutes. Situated in the bowl of nature having lush green ambience, the college is housed in a four-storey building with its campus spread over an area of 13 Kanals. The towering strength of this institution is its building which is equipped with adequate number of spacious and well ventilated classrooms, dedicated laboratories, library, Assembly Hall, Common room, Staff room, Sports room, and a dedicated administrative block.
