About The National Degree College, Basavanagudi
National College, which is listed here under Karnataka University was not at all affiliated to Karnataka University. Up to 2005-06 it was affiliated to Bangalore University. From the academic year 2006-07 National College, Basavanagudi Bangalore is an autonomous education institute. Though UGC granted Autonomous status in 2004-2005 itself the college implemented autonomy in 2006-2007. Now the degree certificates are awarded by Bangalore university on recommendation by the college. But the marks cards are issued by college in its own name.
