About N.P. Arts & Commerce College

Nagar panchayat Arts & Comerce college is one of the two colleges in keshod and is a constitunt college of saurashtra university.
In 1970 the movement of start college in keshod look momentum with a view to provide facilities for higher eduaction and setup a complex at local level. Deligation of the keshod Nagar Panchayat and few education lovers met the vice-chanceller of saurashtra university and head of acdemic council at Bhavnagar and got special permission to start the college at keshod.
Goverment of gujarat allocated four acre of land nearly two KM away from the town and with generous donation from Nagar Panchayat the foundation of N.P. Arts & Commerce College was laid.
Formerly college was managed by keshod Nagar panchayat. But with the passage of time as per rules and regulations of goverment this responsibility was entrusted to Keshod Kelavani mandal, a local education trust.Thus N.P. Arts and Commerce college,Keshod came into existance.
