About ITM College of Art & Science, Mayyil
Managed and run by the Hira Charitable Trust, Mayyil, ITM College of Arts & Science was established in the year 2003. The college is affiliated with Kannur University. The college is having well facilitated, Audio-visual supported classrooms and laboratories in a multi-storied building.
FacilitiesThe college is having a library equipped with books, journals, and periodicals for reference and issue to the students. New books are added as per the demand of changing syllabuses from time to time.
Students require a computer and internet connection for various information and project work. There is one computer center, available to students, having a sufficient number of computers with an internet connection for the use of the students.
For B.Sc. students, having one of the subjects as Physics, there is a full-fledged Physics Laboratory for the benefit of the students where they can learn the practical aspects of Physics.
A hostel facility is available for students interested to live in a hostel. Separate hostels are available for men and women.
A central canteen is available on the college campus for students and staff of the college. One stationary and xerox shop is also available on the campus where the stationery items are available at reasonable prices.
AdmissionsFor admissions, the interested candidates should collect the application form from the office of the college or its city office at - Sharp Line, Malabar Tower, Opp. Hero Honda, South Bazar, Kannur. Admissions are based on the merit of the candidate's last qualifying examination and the shortlisted list of candidates is displayed on the college notice board as well as the individuals are informed about this by post. The shortlisted candidates should produce all the educational and personal credentials in the office of the Principal and admission would only be granted after the scrutiny of all the documents and their verification. After admission, the first-semester fee would have to be deposited in the college.
EligibilityThe eligibility for various courses is as below -
M.Com. - Candidate should have at least 45% marks in B.Com.
M.Sc Physics - Candidate should have a UG degree with Physics as one of the subjects and other eligibility as per Kannur University guidelines.
B.Sc Physics (Main) - The candidate should have passed the Higher Secondary or equivalent examination with Physics as one of the subjects.
B.Com. (Computer Application / Finance / Co-operation) - The candidate should be pass in class XII with commerce as one of the subjects or should have at least 45% in the non-commerce group.
BBA (Travel & Tourism) - The candidate should be pass in class XII with commerce as one of the subjects or should have at least 45% in the non-commerce group.
BCA - Candidate should be pass in Higher Secondary or Equivalent examination with one of the papers as computer science, mathematics, computer applications or informatics practice.
BA (English) - A pass in Higher Secondary or equivalent examination.
