About Bethlahem Institute of Engineering
Bethlahem Institute of Engineering is managed by Nesamani Memorial Trust. The institute is affiliated to Anna University Tirunelveli and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The college has good infrastructure and experienced faculty. The goal of the college is to provide high quality technical education to the students. The college provides good placement offers to the students and the students of the institute are getting placed in the leading companies through on-campus interview every year. The college conducts many placement training sessions and also train the students to attend the interview.
Academics Bethlahem Institute of Engineering offers both UG and PG courses. It offers 6 B.E courses, 1 B.Tech Course and 6 M.E courses. The PG programmes that are available in the college are Applied Electronics, Power electronics and Devices, Computer Science and Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Structural Engineering and Communication Systems. All the departments operating in the college train the students in the field of respective engineering course by conducting both theoretical and practical classes. In addition to the classes, the college also conducts exams regularly to assess the academic skills of the students. The students are also asked to submit projects by applying the engineering principles.
Activities Each and every department of Bethlahem Institute of Engineering conducts many training workshops and department activities. In addition to the workshops, the college also conducts placement training classes and leadership development programmes.
Admission Process and Eligibility 65% of the seats in each and every department of the college are filled through the single window counselling of Anna University.The college admits the students as per the eligibility criteria of Anna University. The students should have passed the higher secondary examination (+2) with Maths, Physics and Chemistry as 3 of the 4 subjects or any vocational stream courses. The college also admits lateral entries in the second year. The students who have completed diploma course or any B.Sc degree with Maths as a subject can apply for the lateral entry in the college.
35% of the seats are filled through management quota. The students who apply through management quota have to fill the admission form of Bethlahem Institute of Engineering and have to submit the duly filled forms in the college. The admission of the students through management quota is strictly based on the norms of Anna University and AICTE.
