International Institute of Fine Arts (IIFA) was established in year 2000 by Satish Kumar and Abha Modi in Modinagar, NCR of Delhi.
International Institute of Fine Arts (IIFA) was started in 2000 by Satish and Abha Modi. IIFA is one of the supreme institutes in India which offers courses on visual arts. IIFA has international recognition and is affiliated to Chaudary Charan Singh University. It is a co-educational institution and it provides high class infrastructure to the students. IIFA has alliances with the University of Arts London and Royal Drawing School, London.
AcademicsIIFA offers 4 years BFA courses in textile design, painting, fashion design and applied arts. The college also offers diploma course in photography and advanced diploma courses in computer graphics and 3D animation. IIFA has experienced faculty and professionals from the universities in UK. Other than conducting regular classes, IIFA also conducts guest lectures, seminars and workshops by academicians and celebrities in the field of art and design.
In the first year of BFA degree courses, the college lays a strong foundation to the students by educating them about the fundamentals of all the subjects in textile design, drawing, painting, fashion design and applied arts. In the second and third year, IIFA trains the students on the subjects of their discipline. In the final year, the college brings out the creativity of the students by involving them into the project work.
InfrastructureIIFA campus covers a large area and has world class infrastructure. The classrooms and lecture rooms are spacious, furnished and ventilated. IIFA has art studio for painting, print making and clay modelling. To train the students on print fabric design, weaving design, sewing and pattern making the college has separate workshops. IIFA also has dark room, photography studio and computer room for animation and multimedia. The college library is stocked with magazines, national and international books. Open spaces are available inside the campus for outdoor sketching and drawing. The college has hostel facilities, art cafe and transportation facilities. IIFA provides pickup and drop facilities from Anand Vihar Metro terminus.
ActivitiesIIFA encourages the students and provides a good platform for the students to reveal their creativity to the outside world. It regularly conducts annual art show, fashion show, exhibition and design workshop. Excellent paintings and creative work of the students of IIFA will be usually displayed in the allied universities of IIFA, education centers and exhibition centers in the UK. - Soundharya
