About Al-Ameen Dental College
The Al - Ameen Dental College is located in Bijapur, Karnataka state. It was established by Al - Ameen Charitable Fund Trust (ACFT) in 1991. Al - Ameen Dental College, Bijapur is one of the religious minority Dental colleges in Karnataka. The college is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore and the courses are recognised by Dental Council of India (DCI). The college offers B.D.S as well as M.D.S courses.

The minimum requirement of admission in Al - Ameen Dental College are as recommended by the Dental Council of India and as prescribed by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences & Govt.of Karnataka.The duration of the B.D.S course is 5 years. It includes 4 academic years and 1 year compulsory internship. The M.D.S course duration is 3 years. The admission process starts in the month of May/ June.
Facilities
Al - Ameen Dental College has highly equipped labs with O.P.G Machine, Radio Visio Graph machine, Sand blaster and Ceramic furnace etc. There are Metal casting Lab, Prothodontics U.G lab, Ceramic lab, Pedodontics U.G Clinic, Periodontics U.G Clinic, Oral Surgery U.G Clinic and Endodontics U.G clinic in Al - Ameen Dental College. Separate libraries are provided for B.D.S and M.D.S students of Al - Ameen Dental College,Bijapur. The college give importance to sports also. It has playground for outdoor games like Cricket,Volleyball,Football,Throw ball & Basket ball and rooms for indoor games. There is an auditorium equipped with multimedia projector. The college runs separate hostels for boys & girls. The hostels have generator & solar water facility.
