About Soorya Institute of Management Studies
Annamalai University, in technical collaboration with Soorya Institute of Management Studies, is conducting Hotel Management, Tourism and Catering Technology programmes at the U.G. and P.G. Degrees, P.G. Diploma, Diploma levels for the academic year 2009-2010 through Distance Education mode for youths aspiring jobs in this industry.
The Soorya Institute of Management Studies (SIMS) is located in the heart of Puducherry City, the old French town Boulevard and has enough resources to train the students on par with international standards. The institute has a peaceful and conducive environment to conduct these programmes so as to enable the students to acquire professional competence and rich experience.
SIMS, managed by Soorya Educational Trust, is a group concern of Hotel Soorya International. It has a hotel with three-star facilities located in Puducherry where resources are available at international standards. The main objective of the Institute is to train the students to equip themselves with the current requirements of the industry by meritorious coaching. The faculty has reputed professionals with rich experiences at various levels of the Industry.
