Nandha Engineering College is an autonomous engineering college providing UG and PG engineering courses in various streams. The college is located in Erode in the state of Tamil Nadu.
FacilitiesThe college is having a spacious library as well as a digital library to facilitate the students to refer to any book or journal of their choices. The library contains books, Journals, Magazines, Project reports, Question banks, Back volumes of Journals, Magazines related to Science, Engineering, and Technologies. The digital library can be accessed by the students on the campus through a Wi-Fi network.
There is a full-fledged training and placement cell in the college that helps the students with career planning and many workshops and learning sessions are conducted by the cell in this matter. This placement cell is very helpful for the students in guiding them to choose a career and perform well in the campus interviews or interviews at the recruiter's facility. The college has tie-ups and associations with many companies.
A good hostel facility is available in the college and there are three boys and two girls hostels with all the modern amenities and facilities. d
There are many student clubs for extracurricular activities for the students and also various sports and game facilities on the campus.
AdmissionsFor admissions to seats in UG engineering courses under the regular quota the candidates successfully qualified under the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) or equivalent exams will be considered based on merit. However, for the management quota seats, the candidates should have passed in higher secondary (HSC) with subjects Maths, Physics, and Chemistry and should have at least 45% marks (for reserved category candidates 40%). Lateral Entry admissions, merit-based, in the third semester of engineering degree courses (B.E./B.Tech.), are also available for the eligible candidates having obtained their diploma from institutes in Tamil Nadu or an equivalent one.
For PG engineering courses (M.E./M.Tech.), the candidates having a Bachelors's degree in engineering are eligible for applying as per the criteria laid down by the Tamil Nadu Common Admission (TANCA) scheme. These criteria are revised every year. As the college is affiliated with Anna University, this information would be available in their portal also.
