About Government Post Graduate College

Govt. Post-Graduate College Alirajpur was established on 15th August 1972 as a private degree college by the eminent persons of the town which was taken over by the Govt. of M.P. on 15th July 1973. Since then it is acting as multi-faculty co-education nodal institution imparting education to the student of 87 per cent tribal population of total Jhabua district.

The college imparts education in Arts, Science and Commerce faculties. In addition, two professional courses, B.Com computer application & B.Sc. computer science in self finance scheme by janbhagidari samiti have been started since 2005-06. The postgraduate courses are offered in Hindi, political science, Sociology, Economics and Commerce. The science faculty runs the traditional courses like Physics, Chemistry, Math's, Botany and Zoology.
