About Ansar Computer College
Ansar Computer College is a reputed college in Kerala, established in 1994, offering various graduation and post-graduation level courses related to Arts, Commerce, and Computers to girls. It is managed by the Ansari Charitable Trust of Perumpilav (founded in 1979). The college is accredited by NIELIT (National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology), Government of India and is also recognized by the Madurai Kamraj University.
The college is also offering its services to the University by offering its premises as a center for conducting various examinations. It also offers courses of Calicut University along with those in the field of IT and Arts.
FacilitiesThe college has all the basic facilities required for delivering excellent education, including spacious classrooms with ergonomic furniture, well-equipped laboratories, etc. The college library is rich in terms of collection of books and is situated near to the main building. Students and staff members can avail this facility on all working days from morning 9 till 5 in the evening. It has around 50,000 books including journals, magazines, and reference books from different fields. Like all other libraries, this library also has some defined rules, and students need to follow them strictly.
As it is offering courses in computer, the computer lab is very much advanced with around 50 computers. The lab has devices like printer, projector, scanner, etc along with a seminar hall attached to it. The college provides internet facility within the campus and looks after the disruptions and other technical issues on a priority basis.
The college canteen is big enough to accommodate more than 50 people at a time. It offers hygienic food at a very reasonable cost. It also supplies essentials and refreshments as per the college requirement.
The auditorium is quite big with a sitting capacity of around 600 people. It is equipped with advanced equipment like projectors, sound systems, lights, etc.
There is an Ansar Hospital on the campus working as a Health Centre for the students and staff. It has around 250 beds with all the necessary medical equipment. The hospital offers its services at very subsidized rates. Apart from treatment, it also organizes various medical camps.
Accommodation and TransportationThe College has hostel facilities within the campus itself. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. The girl's hostel can accommodate around 200 students, whereas the boy's hostel is having the capacity to accommodate 500 students at a time. The hostels have a mess with a kitchen and dining facility offering hygienic food. The timing for meals is fixed and parents or visitors can also avail of meals against payments. There is a fixed timing for study in the hostel and students can also watch television during the allotted timings.
For transport, the college has buses. The routes of the buses are predefined and the number of buses for any particular route may change depending upon the requirement.
AdmissionsFor admissions, students need to submit the filled application form before the last date. This form can be obtained from the office against a payment of Rs. 150/-. You can also get the form by post by making a payment of Rs. 200/-. The admissions are offered after conducting interviews and parents are supposed to accompany their children during the same.

- 6 recent passport size photos of the applicant
- 3 attested copies of the mark sheets and certificates of the qualifying exam.
- 3 attested copies of T.C. or Transfer Certificate.
- 3 attested copies of Conduct certificate.
- Proof f Date of Birth- it can be SSLC or CBSE certificate copies.
