About J.J College of Arts and Science
An epitome of higher learning, the J.J. College of Arts and Science is the Trust's first educational endeavour of benevolence. The other three Government colleges of long standing and serving hitherto the cause of higher education in Pudukkotai were all confined to conventional field of study. With the technological boom and drift in global values, there formed a gap in the educational field as the courses in emerging fields of knowledge were yet to reach the region. With the social consciousness to bridge the gap, J.J. College of Arts and Science was incepted in 1994.
J.J. College of Arts and Science was established with a dream of offering value-based quality education. The college striving hard, has blossomed into a haven of novel Post Graduate courses in the emerging fields of Science and Technology, to everybody''s delight.
Having established itself as a premier Post Graduate institution, its next step as a natural ambition, is to strengthen its research activities. It believes that, Research and Development in collaboration with the industries, will contribute to the development of the nation - taking the knowledge to the field.
