About Bhoj Reddy Engineering College For Women
Bhoj Reddy Engineering College for Women (Formerly ISS College of Information Technology and Engineering for Women) was established in 1997 and has been sponsored by Sangam Laxmibai Vidyapeet (SLV) headed by Dr Ramlakshmi, a physician and administrator is the Correspondent of the College. The SLV is a registered voluntary social action group working for empowerment of women and girls through education since 1952.
The Engineering College is managed by an executive committee consisting of persons with long experience in the field of education.
The college campus is located in a clean atmosphere with a lot of open space and greenery with landscape gardens spread over an area of 6.34 acres. There is plenty of breeze and the campus is free from noise, dust and other pollutions even though it is located in the central part of the city.
Within a short period of eight years, the college has emerged as one of the premier engineering colleges in the state. The college is offering the following B Tech courses with intake shown against each :

Due to certain reasons, the committee members of the Bhoj Reddy Engineering College had decided not to provide courses for few branches of engineering. They are Chemical Engineering, Production Engineering and Electronic Instrumentation & Control Engineering. The college is now providing courses only for four branches of engineering. So, the current Under Graduation programmes (B.Tech) provided by the college are: 1.B.Tech Electronics and Communications Engineering 2.B.Tech Electrical and Electronics Engineering 3.B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering 4.B.Tech Information Technology The fee structure for all the above branches is Rs.33500. The number of seats allotted for two branches has been changed. The number of seats for ECE-180, IT-120 and for the branches CSE and EEE, the number of seats remain as it is. Now coming to Post Graduation courses, the college is providing course only for M.B.A. The number of seats allotted for M.B.A course is 240. A student named K. Kavya (2008-12 batch, ECE) has won gold medal for securing highest pass percentage among all colleges that are affiliated to JNTUH.
