About School Of Geography
Department of Geography has been newly introduced and has begun teaching from July 2008 at Undergraduate level in six semesters. But now M.A./M.Sc. also has been introduced from the session of 2011-12 in four semesters. The main thrust areas are Geomorphology, Climatology, Oceanography, Bio/Environmental, Population, Regional Development and Planning, Agriculture, Urban and Rural, Political etc. The Department has also introduced an integrated doctoral programme. The department has a Laboratory equipped with facilities for giving practical training in Geography methodology. Central Library of Banasthali University has large collection of books on Geography by eminent authors including some rare books.
