About Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology

SVNIT-surat is one of the reputed NITs in india. Previously this college was known as a REC-Surat. In october 2002 it was converted in NIT-National Institute of Technology by central government. College is located in a new city area just besides the main Dumas road.

There are about seven engineering courses currently running in college. Every year reputed companies visit the campus and recruit the scholar engineers from various branches. PG courses are also running in various branches.

The college has a very good facility of boys and girls hostel as well as a modern gym.

-College email id is : director@svnit.ac.in -There are only 30 seats each in M.Sc Applied Chemistry, Applied Mathematics and M.Sc in Physics. In the department section: "Electronics Department" and "Applied Mathematics and Humanities" should be there. There is minor error in it. -Currently Ranks in Top 50 engineering college. -Admission is based on AIEEE and CATS (for integrated M.Sc course)
