The college was established in 2005 as as a part of the AL-AZHAR group of educational institution under the management of Noorul Islam Trust. The vision of the trust is to impart knowledge to illiterate people in Kerala especially those are in Idukki district.
The campus is located at 2 KM away from Thodupuzha town at a place called Perumpillichira.
The college offers B.Tech. degree in, Computer Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Electrical and Communications Engineering.
