HISTORY
The IILM was estabilished in 1993 under the Ram Krishnan & Sons Charitable trust. There Objective is to provide better knowledge in the field of management and to them good enough so that they become capable of facing every competition in there's field. The focus is not just learning but involve learning beyond classrooms.
It ranks among top 15 business schools in the country .Seeing this all pervasive aspect, IIlM lays stress on creating centers of excellence through academic programs.
For Higher learning The IILM Academy of Higher Learning , Greater Noida was set up in 1st April, 2001 under the Ram Krishnan & Charitable Trust. College of Enginnering & technology, School of Enginnering and Applied science, School of Business Management and College of Management Studies Under the academy was set up which Aim's at achieving excellence in technological and management education.

Aims at becoming the recognized Academy in providing good quality education amd in simulating innovation in enginnering and technology and management education.

There Mission is to provide student a best environment of learning and reduce the gap between theory and practical teaching.

DEPARTMENTS
IILM consist of following Departments:
1.Department of Bio-Technology:
The objective of the department is to provide an environment where knowledge is interagrated with research. It is one of the emerging field , there is a huge demand for trained professional in national & international market in research & development, manufacturing and marketing. There are many companies which are investing in improving human life.
The main Objective of department is to provide high tech training in the field of biotechnology. Enable them to contribute to the economy and face the challenges of globalization.
2. Department of Computer Science & Engineering:
It helps student in providing hardware and software knowledge of computer. The mission of this department is to provide high quality of education in the discipline of Computer Science and Engineering. It impart quality education according to the needs of industry. The labs are designed well with latest technology , softwares and tools of the computer science.
The department is provided with good faculties which help the students in improving them. They Have necessary professional skills, such as high ethical standards, effective oral and written communication . They had already Achieved success in there chosen areas
3. Departments of Electronics & Communication Engineering:
Recently Electronics have controlled the aerospace as well health technologies, MRI, X-rays . This department provide B.Tech program in ECE to the students. The department has its own digital, Integrated circuit, microprocessor labs so that student can practically implement there knowledge. Other labs that department consist of are microwave and fibre optics, CAD and simulation labs. Have good faculty in this department. The students not only get good education but they are also been indulged in other extracircular activities.
4.Department of electrical and electronics:
It encourages students to develop new and good projects based electronic system. Power is the today's need and using resources in efficient way to generate electricity and power is one of the major demand in the world.
To match the continuous growth in requirement of electric power skilled enginners are required for it. Electrical engineering also enables us to establish small-scale industries for power invertors, ups and others products as there is a increase in demand for power back ups.
5.Department of Mechanical Engineering:
This department provide B.Tech degree course to the students. It has a balanced curriculum designed to meet the present day of industry needs. It has its own workshops and labs. Students learn design of various machines, energy system, material and production processes during the course. There mission is to impart the quality education to the students and enhancing their skills to make them ready for competitions.
This department has some major educational objectives:
• Impart basic knowledge of maths, science and enginnering. To develop problem solving skills.
• Produce enginner with better and strong theoretical and practical exposure in the relevant discipline.
6. Department of Mechanical Engineering:
This department provide B.Tech degree course to the students. It has a balanced curriculum designed to meet the present day of industry needs. It has its own workshops and labs. Students learn design of various machines, energy system, material and production processes during the course.
The students are taught the stages of production – how the different sub assemblies are manufactured, brought to the plant assembled either by robots or humans, right up to final assembly when the vehicle is up and running and then tested for qualification.
INFRASTRUCTURE
IILM has a large infrastructure. It consist of:
1.Lecturer rooms
All classrooms consist of modern audio and visual system including the LCD projectors. Classroms are spacious and they are designed for conventional lectures and GD.
2.Workshop & Laboratries
IILM Academy had different laboratories for doing practical work, as practical training and development is very important for engineering student. They consist of latest technology equipments and the spacious laboratories. Some of the major labs are:

•Electrical Measurement & Instrumentation Lab
•EMEC-I & EMEC-II Lab

3.Library
Library consist of wide varieties of books which include books related to syllabus, National and International Journals, Reviews articleson various subjects, Books for advanced knowledge. It is equipped with latest reading , research & audiovisual format.
4.Hostel Facility
Hostel facility is provided to both boys and girls. They have separate hostel. Hostel are provided with all basic necessities which includes adequently ventilated spacious living rooms, study rooms with attached bath room, equipped with bed, study table and computer node.

SECURITY
For security it consist of gunman and black cat commandos 24X7. Also consist of ladyguards. Medical facility is also provided for any emergency case .
5.Transport
To make the college commune safe, the academy provide transport facility from delhi, noida and other places. 2 AC buses are specially arranged for the summer season.
To make the college commute safe, comfortable and enjoyable, the Academy provides transport facility from Delhi, Noida & Ghaziabad. Two Air conditioned buses are specially arranged for the summer season.
6.Cafeteria
An indoor cafeteria is provided to student , faculties for snacks/beverages and meals.
