About Indian Institute of Space Science And Technology
Indian Institute of Space science is a deemed institute under "Department of Space" started in 2007. It offers undergraduate, masters, Phd and post- Phd. One can also choose to work in ISRO after completion of programme. Currently, 3 courses- i) Aerospace engineering ii)Avionics engineering iii) Physical Sciences are offered as undergraduate courses. If your C.G.P.A is more than 7.5, you are eligible for scholarship and absorption in I.S.R.O. A student get additional Rs 3000 as book grant per semester. If you are Aerospace topper, you will be send to CALTECH for M.S. Institute has its own library furnished with all kinds of books and national and international magazines. Recognized personalities are invited to give talks every week. There are 11 courses offered as M.Tech and M.S. The state of art is one of the best in India. There are annual cultural and Tech fest knwon as Dhanak and Conscientia respectively.
