About Narasinha Dutt College
Narasinha Dutt College has been offering both Honours and General Courses at the Undergraduate level with Post Graduate Courses in Mathematics and English.
The College has started offering several job-oriented courses for the benevolence of the students at large. The need-based research work in Post Graduate courses by the highly qualified faculty members has received accolades from the educational segment.
Narasinha Dutt College with its commendable achievements in Arts, Science and Commerce Education has become the preferred destinations for thousands of budding students of Howrah and its adjoining areas.
The College has been duly accredited by NAAC at B++ level. The College has achieved another landmark of online admission in the last year.
Narasinha Dutt College facilitates well-equipped laboratories in the lab-based subjects so that students can foster their growth in a highly congenial environment. Besides the Laboratories, the College also offers an excellent Library and Book Bank with a stock of more than 60,000 books covering various subjects. Each of the department has got its own dedicated departmental libraries which also provide various magazines and journals besides the central library. The UGC Internet Resource Centre helps the students to get acquainted with the International culture and latest developments in the respective fields.
The College offers a state-of-the-art Computer Center, Career Counseling and Placement Cell, Grievance Redressal Cell, Magazine, Scholarship & Stipend, Students' Aid Fund and many other facilities. The College organizes parents-teachers meeting to keep the parents updated about the progress of their wards.
