This college was started in the year 1962. VRS and YRN College of Engineering and Technology was affiliated to JNTU-K and recognized by AICTE, New Delhi. This college was spread in 110 acres of land with imminent facilities. Present this college offering both Under graduation and postgraduation courses in various engineering courses along with that Polytechnic courses also offering in this college.

Facilities and Infrastructure

This college has a separate library with 16426 volumes, 3182 Titles of books available for students library start working from 8:30 on wards in the morning till the end of the college in all working days.
One internet center is present in the college with 5mbs speed to meet the needs of both students and staff.
Transport facility is available for students through buses.
Separate hostel facility is available for boys and girls in the campus.
This college offering students who joined the college in convener quota belonging to SC, ST, BC for them hostel fee is Rs.4,500.
For OC category students Rs.15000 per year.
One canteen and Health center available in campus
