About Government College of Engineering,Kalahandi
Government College of Engineering,Kalahandi is established in 2009 by an act of Government of Odisha. It is one of the constituent college of BPUT. The main aim is to set up this college in Kalahandi area to improve the higher education facility in backward area like Koraput, Bolangir and Kalahandi district.
Departments in GCEK
GCEK is a new college so the basic courses are there. Still the college is waiting for approval to open new courses.

Fee Structure
The fee structure in GCEK is very competitive in compare to any other engineering college.
Total charges for 1st year is only Rs. 38,500/- and Rs. 29,500/- for next years.
Admission Procedure
The college is following strict guidelines of BPUT and Govt. of Odisha for admission. Normally the college admission through Odisha Joint Entrance Examination and AIEEE.
The intake capacities are as follows
Electrical Engineering : 60 seats
Computer Science and Engineering : 60 seats
Mechanical Engineering : 60 seats
Civil engineering : 60 seats
