About Dulari Devi Degree College
Dulari Devi Degree College is an Arts and Commerce college located at Bhikampur Road, which is 15 km away from Deoria district in Uttar Pradesh. The college is managed by 'Tara Devi Siksha Samiti, Nehru Nagar, Deoria (UP). The college is affiliated to Deendanayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University and is recognized by National Council for Teacher Education for B.Ed. programme
Courses offered
Dulari Devi Degree College offers four different programmes:
1. Bachelor of Arts - The students can seek admission in three year B.A. programme in nine different stream. The nine stremas are Hindi, Sociology, Education, Economics, Home Science, Political Science, Geography, Ancient History and Sanskrit. The intake for each stream is 80.
2. Bachelor in Commerce- The total intake for B.Comm programme is 180. The total duration of the course is 3 years.
3. Bachelor of Education- This is a one year course in which students can seek admission after completion of graduation. Total intake for the B.Ed programme is 100.
4. Master of Arts- The college offers Master of Arts programme in two streams- Home Science and Sociology. The intake for home science and sociology is 40 and 60 respectively. This is a two year programme.
Infrastructure and Facilities
The college campus is spread in an area of 5 acres. The classrooms are well-ventilated. The library has almost 3000 books related to the courses offered in the college. The home science, Psychology and Education Technology and Media lab are well-equipped. The college also provides indoor and outdoor sports facilities to the students.
