Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Government Degree College, is an Arts college located in GIDA campus. The college is located at Gorakhpur-Lucknow National highway-28. It is 16 km away from Gorakhpur and 2 km away from Sahjanwa. The college is affiliated to Deen Dayal Upadyaya Gorakhpur University. The college which was established in the year 1993 has approval for providing education in 7 arts subjects.
Facilities
The college campus is spread in more than 9 acres of land and is located in the GIDA campus. The college has two-storey building. The college building has six lecture rooms, one well-equipped lab for home science, well-maintained library with almost 8000 books and journals and reading room, common room for girls, examination rooms and indoor games room. The college also conducts National service scheme in which 100 students are enrolled. The college campus also has a huge playground, in which annual sports events. The students participate in different sports and games.
