About Parvati Mahila P.g. College
Parvati Mahila P.G. College was established in the year 1998. It is affiliated to Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University. The college is managed and administered by Parvati Mahila Shikshan Avam Prashikshan Sansthan, Dohri Ghat, Mau. The college is recognized by National Coucil for Teacher's Education.
Location
The college is located in lush green environment in the village of Dohrighat in Mau district at National Highway-29, Gorakhpur- Varanasi road. The nearest railway station is Dohrighat.
Facilities
The college campus has been developed in a peaceful environment in rural area of Dohrighat. The campus is spread in an area of 7000 sq.ft. The college has well-developed building. The classrooms are well-ventilated and spacious. All the labs, i.e. Psychology lab, science, Education Teach and Media lab are well-equipped and well-furnished. The library has good collection of books as per NCTE norms and has seating capacity of 50. The college also provides facilities for indoor and outdoor games.
Courses offered
The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Arts stream. The college also offers B.Ed courses, recognized by NCTE.
Admission
Admission in the B.A. and M.A. courses is done either on the merit obtained in entrance exam or on the basis of the marks obtained in qualifying exam, based on the applicable selection procedure.
