About Semiliguda College
As the small town Semiliguda looks like a hamlet amid the greenery hillocks of the Eastern ghats and lies between to industrial locations Sunabeda which hosts HAL and Damanjodi where the famous NALCO is located. With a main motto to provide higher qualitative education to the tribal masses and those who can't reach to the distant parts of Odisha to complete the H.SC and Graduation, the College took shape to realise their dream.
It is the biggest leading aided college in Koraput district of Odisha. It was established in the year 1985 to take care of the academic interest of the tribal belt and laid milestones in nurturing cultural well being of the area. Mega sports like Archery and country games like Kabaddi are played here and the local boys have won state level championship in these areas. Subjects like Science, Commerce and Humanities are taught in H.SC level and Courses in B.SC (Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biological sciences, Computer science), B.A in Humanities and Economics and B.Com are available for the aspirants.
The view of sunrise and sunset from this college would give the visitors a scintillating experience.
