About Alpha College of Engineering and Technology
Alpha College of Engineering & Technology is established by Alpha Education Foundation in 2009 near Arvind Mills at Khatraj Village. The Institute is affiliated to Gujarat Technological University and approved by AICTE. The institute is started with only four degree programmes. Now Alpha College of Engineering & Technology has Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering and also offers a postgraduate programme in Computer Engineering with total intake of 924. The college campus is developed on 10 acres area.
About Class RoomAll Classrooms are spacious, well ventilated and well equipped with LCD and Overhead projectors. In all classrooms, public address system with proper arrangements of Laptop power supply is also available. The furniture in all Classrooms is of International quality. The college has a distance education classroom with broadcasted whiteboards, a SMART board, a plasma TV and document camera.
About Laboratories and Computer CenterAll laboratories are fully equipped with Modern equipment. Laboratories are used for performing regular experiments as well as research work of students.
Central Computer Centre, to fulfill the computing requirements of the institute is equipped with more than 70 latest configured computers. In Central Computer Centre, all the online tests of the campus recruitment of all Students and Aptitude tests for Training and Placement of all students are also conducted.
About WorkshopMore than 1100 square meters built up area is allotted for the workshop. Workshop is well designed and constructed. Workshop is well equipped with all related modern machinery and tools. The workshop has around 50 tables for carrying out various job works. In the workshop the shops such as Carpentry, Fitting, Smithy, Foundry, Welding, Machining Shop are available. In workshop, comfortable environment is maintained during performance of experiments.
