About Jeypore School Of Engineering & Technology

The KBK (Kalahandi-Bolangir-Koraput) region in Odisha is considered as one of the most backward areas in the country and the tribal population is considerably more. Government of Odisha has authorized many Private institutions to establish various educational institutes apart from its own efforts to promote education for the tribal populace.

As a result of these efforts, Jeypore School of Engineering & Technology (JSET) came into existence in 2007 as a self powered project undertaken by Banagiri Development Trust, Jeypore with an accreditation of AICTE to promote the students from rural part of Odisha to meet the challenges of the local and global industrial demands. Very sooner this Technical school became a hub of the technocrats in the region. Well equipped laboratories, good library and surrounding greenery with hill-locks would add flavour to this well nourished institute. In addition of imparting technical knowledge, the students are provided with good sports infrastructure. Training in Archery, country games like Kabaddi is given here.

Courses offered:

1. Diploma in Computer Science and Electronics
2. Diploma in Electrical engineering
3. Diploma in Electronics and mass Communication engineering
4. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Each course would cater for 60 seats and those who pass out I.T.I also would be given a lateral entry in the second year of the programme.
