Yashwantrao Chavan College of Arts, Commerce & Science is a Junior and Degree College. It is located in Koparkhairane region of Navi Mumbai. The college is managed by Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Education ,Science and Technological Research Trust, Nanded. The college is affiliated to Mumbai University and started it's journey in 2008-09.
Admission in degree collegeFor admission in first year degree course offered by the college, the candidates must have secured at least 45% marks in class XII board examination.
Admission in Junior CollegeAdmission in Junior college in different streams is purely based on the merit obtained in class X examination.
Infrastructure, Facilities and activitiesThe college has a good infrastructure, developed according to the rules and regulations of University of Mumbai. All the teaching staff are experienced and qualified. Various co-curricular activities are organized regularly. The students participate in debate, cultural activities, quiz, elocution, essay writing and other events. The college campus has a Gymkhana , where indoor and outdoor games facilities is provided. There is Women Development Cell and also the college is associated with NSS.
