About Government Engineering College
GEC(Government college of engineering) Ramgarh is an engineering Institution which is based on the PPP model i.e Public Private Partnership. It has different discipline like electrical, mechanical, computer science and electronics and communication. The college is affiliated with Kolhan University Jharkhand and AICTE.
This College is spread over the 40 Acre green lush campus having nearly 3,00,000 Sq Ft reserved for Academic Building, Canteen, girls and boys Hostels and Quarters for staff residence, also space for workshop etc. This College also have enriched Library which carry majority of the books of different discipline and also international journals.
Admission to the College is through entrance conducted by J.C.E.C.E Board which is under the Jharkhand Government. Remaining seats are reserved for management Quota.
The colleges is situated in Ramgarh district of the Jharkhand state. Ramgarh is well connected with NH-23 AND NH-33 by road also it is 43 km from Ranchi.
