About Munshi Lal Arya College Kasba

Munshi Lal Arya COllege was established on 1971 in the month of July. It was the vision of Dr.Akshay Lal Sah to start a educational institution in order to educate the students in Kasba which is a backward area. With his vision, A businessman named Munshi Lal Arya constructed the college and hence it was named after him. The College is located 8 kms away from the district headquarters. At first it was affiliated to the Lalit Narayan Mithila University but later became an unit of Bhupendra Narayan Mandal University. At Present College is offerring Honours degrees in 18 different subjects in Commerce, Arts and Science. There was hostel facility for girls near the college itself. There are laboratories equipped with best class instruments. There are seperate common rooms for boys and girls which has facilities to play indoor games. Besides that there was a big playground where various range of outdoor games like football, cricket can be played. College also possesses a good library with a wide collection of books for enrichment of knowledge in students. The college also encourage students to take part in NSS, Sports and various cultural activities too to encourage the talented students.
