About Hindusthan School of Architecture
Hindusthan School of Architecture was established in 2015 by Thiru T.S.R. Khannaiyann and is under the affiliation of Anna University, Chennai. The college is managed and run by Hindusthan educational and charitable trust. The main aim of the college is to educate both the men and the women students about engineering education and its practice. The college offers education in Architecture.
Infrastructure The college campus is very large and it has spacious classrooms, computer labs, playground, gyms and facilities for indoor and outdoor games. The college library is well stocked with books, magazines, periodicals and journals on Architecture. The college has separate laboratories and workshops for carpentry, clay, textile, metal, model making and ACAD. Separate hostel for boys and girls is present inside the campus. The college hostel offers healthy and hygienic food to the students. The cafeteria present inside the college provides veg food, non-veg food, snacks, ice cream,etc. The college has good and safe transport facilities for the pickup and drop of the students
Academics and Activities Hindusthan School of Architecture offers Bachelor of Architecture Engineering course (B.Arch). The duration of the course is 5 years. The course deals with the history of architecture and the basic design, process, analysis of buildings. More creativity and sensitivity is needed for the B.Arch degree.
The students are encouraged to participate in the co-curricular activities and the workshops conducted on carpentry, clay, textile, metal, model making, A-CAD training, Material seminars and so on. The college arranges field trips all over India and an International trip to analyse the design and the architectural styles of Temples, Cathedrals, Palaces, Monuments, Portuguese Architecture, Mughal Architecture, etc.
Admission- Eligibility Hindusthan School of Architecture admits the students in Architecture degree course based on the marks scored by the students in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture. The candidates who apply for Hindusthan School of Architecture must have an aggregate above 50% in the board exams conducted by central/ state government and should also have minimum 40% marks in NATA.
