About Muzaffarpur Institute of Technology
Muzaffarpur Institute of Technology is a government college and affiliated with Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University. The college has approved by AICTE (All India Council Technical Education), New Delhi. The institute offers undergraduate and postgraduate level programs in several branches of engineering and technology and Bachelor of pharmacy. The institute is located on North-West corner of the Muzaffarpur city along Muzaffarpur- Motihari Road.
MIT Muzaffarpur has a number of Modern facilities for the smooth conduct of its courses within the campus. MIT is located in the heart of the city and is well connected by various transport facilities like the train, bus, and taxi. Facilities Muzaffarpur MIT also provide accommodation for the students who live outside Muzaffarpur. However, students can always accommodate themselves as paying guests(PG) in any part of the city.
The college has been endowed with a beautiful campus and excellent infrastructure. The classrooms are spacious and have all the latest facilities like LCD screen and video conferencing projectors.
There is well-stocked library having a large number of books on different topics and subjects. The library is also subscribed to many journals and magazines to keep students updated with the latest happenings and research work going on in the field of technology. The laboratories are highly modernized and have all the resources to enhance the learning process through practical.
There are seven hostels beside the college campus including one girl's hostel inside the campus. The hostel has good living conditions with all the requisite facilities like a common room with television, coolers, geysers, indoor game facility and round the clock water and electricity supply. The students living in the hostel are served pure and hygienic mouthwatering dishes.
Students are encouraged to take active participation in games and sports. The college has its own playground where students play many types of games. The college also organizes many cultural programs and fests. Many workshops, seminars, and extra classes are organized to increase students' interaction and to develop leadership skills.
