The Kongu Arts and Science College (KASC) was established in the year 1994 by the Kongu Vellalar Institute of Technology Trust (KVITT), Perundurai. The KVIT trust includes 37 members as pattern members and the trust runs some other institutions like Kongu Engineering College, Kongu Polytechnic College, Kongu School of Architecture and Kongu National Metric Higher Secondary School. KASC is a leading self financing Arts and Science College in Tamil Nadu which is located in Erode. This College is an Co-Educational Autonomous College affiliated to Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. This college has got ISO 9001:2016 certification and also accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). KASC has been approved by University Grant Commission (UGC) and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
Kongu Arts and Science College - Infrastructure and Facility
KASC has good infrastructure with state art of technology in all the fields. The College has four separate blocks including main block for conducting the various courses. Totally, 12 Computer Labs are functioning with 12 Mbps internet connectivity round the clock. The College has two well furnished separate hostels for both boys and girls and it provides quality foods to the inmates. The College also has good canteen for day scholar students to full-fill their needs. The hostel students can avail the facilities like Gym, Type writing, Sports and Computer lab in the campus by 24X7. The College operates 40 buses to various places to full fill the need of transport facility for the students. The teachers of the college are well qualified and dedicated themselves to provide quality education to the students.
